We are excited about the opportunities that Boy Scouts has provided for our sons. Scouting can provide a structured environment to teach young men the skills that will help them mature into adulthood. Our goal is to uphold the principles of leadership, achievement, and service in a creative, fun, and active atmosphere. While our adult leaders are there to guide and encourage them, our scouts are expected to plan activities, lead, support, and learn from one another. Troop 381 is involved in service projects that benefit our community. We have been involved with such organizations as Goodwill/Goodturn, Hope Hospice, Texas Adopt a highway / trash pickup, Bike MS, Food Bank, Wounded Warriors, Relay for Life, building tables and planter boxes for schools. We are commited to providing our Troop with campouts every month. In addition, we are working to raise funds so that the troop can travel out of state for their week long summer camp broadening their experience and appreciation of the outdoors.
